Rose is an unlockable character. You must complete an adventure with only female party members; you can either exclude males from your party requiring you to unlock two from: Brunhilda, Annabelle, Leonara and Shani first to meet the 3 party member minimum or only a female survives the final mission. e.g. Natalya if no other female has been unlocked.


There is no obvious mention in the notes as to whether her & Jackson Sheffield are related in any way or if the surname was recycled by the developers.


To reflect the fact she will generally be the fourth female to join the party, her starting equipment is a Level 3 common pistol (33-37 Damage, 6 Bullet Clip) and a Level 2 common Knife (21-26 Damage). She wears Level 2 light armour.

In hard-core mode she comes with a level 1 pistol and level 1 knife, whilst wearing level 1 light armour.


Rose is a versatile fighter able to use a sniper rifle, pistol or knife. Due to this she lacks the ability to unlock anything other than the simpler weapon upgrades. However this is useful in hard-core mode as you can use her a substitute sniper after having invested in pistol skills (damage & accuracy) and not see any difference in damage caused with the sniper rifle as her perks are range and magazine size for that weapon; the pistol upgrades are very significant, whereas the sniper rifle upgrades are not crucial for effective sniping.

1 Healing Shot Special Ability Shoot a projectile at an ally. Restore 20% HP per turn for 3 turns. Does not require or consume supplies. Requires: x2 Bravery.
2 Dash Special Ability Move to an adjacent position up to 2 tiles away. Dash doesn't trigger ambushes. Does not use any action points.Straigh line moves only. May make consecutive dash moves in one turn. Requires: 1x Bravery.
Warning Shots Special Ability Warning Shots let you place a conical area to observe during the next turn. Any enemy moving in this area will receive a warning shot stopping their movement. Warning shots will not deal any damage. Requires: x2 Bravery.
